Rhymes for Muslim children

Rhymes for children

Muslim rhymes for children has been developed to enable children to increase their understanding of Islam in a fun way.

As rhymes often become the first sentences that children speak and memorise through repetition, they play a vital part in developing the foundation skills not only for speaking and reading but also in understanding the concepts of religion.

Learning to listen also allows children to think their way through a word sound by sound which gives them a head start in future reading success.

Listed below are thumbnails of each of the rhymes accompanied by a sound file. Full scale pages can be downloaded here. The sound files are available to download in .mp3 format. To download you should right-click on the track you want and select Save Target As... then choose where (on your computer) to save the file to.
