A - Z of teaching Islam

The A to Z of teaching Islam is a curriculum framework that outlines specific, measurable outcomes. It enables:-

1. A single unified curriculum for all students regardless of age, developing each aspect as the student progresses.

2. 26 integrated learning outcomes which are theme based as opposed to fixed subjects of Fiqh, Tareekh, Akhlaq & Qur'an which have little connection between topics and little or no attention to self development.

Click on the letters below for the suggested learning objectives and outcomes for each of the alphabet, along with the corresponding resources.

The Learning Outcomes of study are statements of what a student can be expected to know, understand and/or do as a result of completing the learning process at QSchool.

The assessing of these learning outcomes may take any form, so long as there is a measurement of whether the student knows the required information or can perform the required task.

A tripartite relationship between the student, parent and teacher is therefore automatically established which communicates the achievement of these outcomes on an ongoing basis as opposed to a few selected words on a report to summarise overall yearly progress.
