Ta'qibat - Recitations after daily prayers
Ta'qibat means that which is attached to something.
Ta'qibat of salaa are recitations that are said immediately after the daily prayers.
There are numberous ahadith recommending the recitation of specific Qur'anic ayat and short duas after daily prayers. The leat benefit of these recitations is that it would compensate our inadvertent shortcomings at the time of prayers.
Ta'qibat are of two types: Common for all prayers and specific to each prayer.
It is highly recommended to recite the tasbee of Sayyida Fatima Zahra (pbuh) as taught to her by her father the Prophet (pbuh), which is three short phrases:
34x Allahu Akber
33x Alhamdulillah
33x Subhanallah
